Melbourne midfielder Jack Viney can accept a one-game AFL ban for his flurry of punches in a clash with Port Adelaide opponent Brad Ebert.

The Power onballer tagged Viney on Saturday as Port had a crucial 45-point win over the Demons.

Port Adelaide's Jackson Trengove and GWS defender Adam Tomlinson were also offered $1000 penalties, while Western Bulldogs pair Jake Stringer and Tom Liberatore and Collingwood defender Alan Toovey were fined for melee offences.
